I know its been a long time since I've posted. I'm not actually sure if anyone even reads this still but I want to update.

All of the kittens have found homes, Ginger did as well, right here with us. No one in the community reached out and offered her a home, and I couldn't take her to the shelter. She has a very special place in my heart and we have formed a strong bond.

About two weeks ago I received a wonderful blessing and that was updated pictures of Sesame from adoptive home. The pictures made my day and really made the last 4 months worthwhile. Bringing Ginger (and her babies) into our lives was not easy. It lessened the time I was able to spend with my own cats and other pets and obviously additional finances. But in the end it served my ultimate purpose. Two weeks ago Ginger was spayed and will no longer contribute to the pet overpopulation, and two of her babies were spayed and neutered that day as well.

Another kitten found a home today and I am so pleased. Nutmeg the tortie has gone to a new home and will have a slightly older brother!

This leaves Sage, Sesame and Ginger (the momma) left for adoption. All three are adorable and sweet.

It is very bittersweet to see the babies growing and leaving.

Baby Pepper (who was a Dill) is adapting to life with two older brothers quite well, now if they'll just adjust to life with a younger sister everything will be great.

Baby Mace has adapted great to his older sister and brother!

The kittens are developing many new traits, habits and abilities this week They are truly running, jumping from higher heights, playing alittle rougher with each other and trying to gain some independence. They are interested in more "cat" like activities and love playing with toys. My how the time has gone by--each has such a special place in my heart.

My oh my, its been too long for an update. The babies are growing and not babies anymore. They are running and playing and a constant joy!

Ginger has weaned them mostly but a couple of them just don't want to give up their momma! She's been very patient though and is letting them take their time.

They are all eating wet and dry food, drinking from the water bowl and all use the litter box with ease--well minus a few accidents where they've stepped in their messes and we've had to give mini baths! But human meowmy is teaching them how to properly cover so they don't step in their messes!

As is stands the only kittens available are the three girls--
Nutmeg (tortie)
Sesame (cream) and
Sage (torbie)

And sweet momma Ginger (torbie) is looking for a home as well. The kittens will be 8 weeks old on June 15 and hopefully 2lbs so they are ready to spay with their vouchers from SCOOP.

If you have questions about them or want more pictures of a particular baby please let me know and I'll try and make that happen for you!

The babies are starting to use the litter box--its so precious, and bittersweet to see them growing up. Ginger has such patience for them.

They are also loving their baby food, they look forward to a meal in the morning and evening.

Sesame (cream) is a busy body, adventurous and always in the middle of things.
Nutmeg (tortie) is nosey, contemplative and a good eater.
Sage (torbie) is sweet, curious and loves to nap with her brother Dill.
Dill (blue/white) is goofy, a fuzz ball and loves his belly rubbed.
Mace (black/white) is calm, careful and cuddley.

They will be looking for their furrever homes around June 15--they will be 8 weeks old

I'm not sure when it got to be the 15th but oh well.

The babies are on the move. Three of five have figured out how to get out of the nest box--all the girls...makes you wonder about the boys...

Little Miss Sesame the cream girl tasted her first bite of cat little today--it apparently wasn't good. Hopefully thats the end of that for her--I'm sure the others will try as well when they finally reach the box.

They are just adorable and Ginger is sweet as ever. She's so good with them, very patient with them now that they are so busy, she's a great mom.
